Square 6 The Friday Club

The Friday Club have met on Friday afternoon at Exeter Street Hall for over 50 years and sit down together at tables covered in gingham cloths to share a cup of tea and a piece of cake. The group is led by Joan Rogers-Jones who asked Edith Gorton if her sister Nellie would like to make the square to represent the club using some of the gingham from the table cloths as inspiration. The group was delighted to be involved in the project. The fabric used was 100% cotton and embroidery floss.
