Square 22
Exeter Street Hall

Designed and made by Liz Man (parishioner)

Liz made this square entirely by hand using 100% washed Cotton fabrics and embroidery threads. She has used the same fabrics for the Church Hall as for the Church there by linking them together. The hall started life as a school and the 'Boys' and 'Girls' separate entrances can still be seen today over the doors either end of the hall. The hall is the centre for many local groups not least the Little Fishes pre-school that runs in the hall each week day. The St. Luke's Church owns the hall. Liz has depicted one of the Community Association notice boards outside the hall, which acts as both street planter and an information point for what is happening locally.
