Seagulls

"I was inspired to create this square by the delight of having quite large birds nesting so close to us humans and using our buildings and chimneys in lieu of cliffs and rocks. I felt this was a peculiarly 20 Century development."

" I was delighted when Sara asked me to join in. She suggested my painting of the seagulls for the first square. It is such a privilege to have taken part in a joint effort particularly since it has turned out to be such a beautiful result."
