York Villa

Designed and made by Josephine Gobey

Jo chose to represent York Villa because of its historical significance to Prestonville. The land that York Grove and York Villas was built on was previously farmed during the 19 Century by the owners York Villa, which was built at around 1820 and is all that remains the farm house and out buildings of New England Farm. Jo has used a pieced patchwork method to carry out the design and has used 100% cotton Patchwork fabrics throughout.
